Social Worker, Bariatric Surgery Group
Responsibilities:
As a bariatric social worker, you will perform pre-operative behavioral health assessments according to the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) guidelines. You will help prepare patients for weight loss surgery, working closely with the staff psychiatrist. You will also provide post-operative support with individual psychotherapy.
Tri State Bariatrics is an expanding practice with multiple sites, and travel to other offices will be expected. As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to change the lives of others along their weight loss journey.
Qualifications required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
Excellent Communication Skills
Previous experience in the bariatric field is a plus.
Spanish speaking is desirable.

Salary commensurate with experience, excellent benefits, convenient daytime/weekday office hours.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
