These positions are Full-Time 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday), located in Middletown, NY.
Description:
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for the care and education of children within the confines of the classroom setting.
You will provide daily care and education to the children in your care.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a love of education.
You will have an interest in early childhood education and be an overall team player.
Duties Include:
Provide learning and care to the children in your care while maintaining a safe, secure environment and establishing good relationships with parents Create relationships with other teachers and staff members through open communication Prepare and implement lesson plans based on child development Provide instruction in various areas of knowledge, including but not limited to mathematics, social studies, language arts, physical activity, and child health Develop an organized classroom management system to include lesson plans and progress reports for each student Implement safety protocols and procedures as assigned by management Maintain a positive attitude and work with the management team toward developing relationships with all students, parents, teachers, and fellow employees Willingness to follow safety policies and procedures as assigned by management Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Must have a high school diploma/GED Must be able to pass a safety assessment and background check.
