Licensed Master Social Worker 1 (Ward ATC)

The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) 1 will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The incumbent will function as a case manager and assist with clinical oversight. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
o Assess individual and family needs, strengths, and limitations for people with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. o Provide individual, group, and family counseling, as well as crisis intervention o Record significant psychosocial events and/or changes in clinical condition. o Determine the individual needs for referral to community-based services. o Function as a Team Leader and serve as a resource to other team members regarding social adjustment, discharge service needs, and the effective utilization of community services. o Educate individual and family about the nature of the disorder/illness and available resources and how to access them. o May oversee therapeutic interventions of individuals assigned to their treatment team. o May provide clinical consultation and assistance to members of the professional staff and members of the treatment team, under the clinical supervision of a licensed clinical social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist. o Coordinate care and treatment planning for clients served. o Prepare reports and maintain all records as required. o Will carry a caseload. o Other relevant duties as assigned.

Salary Range:
From $61270 to $77912 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Current permanent status as a Licensed Master Social Worker 1 and qualified for lateral transfer OR Eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law OR Reachable on the current Licensed Master Social Worker 1 eligible list. OR Qualify for provisional appointment as described below. Candidate must possess experience treating patients with occurring addiction and mental health disorders. Provisional Appointment:
To qualify for provisional appointment, candidate must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). If you are appointed provisionally, you must take the next scheduled Civil Service examination for this title and your score must be reachable on the resulting eligible list before you can be permanently appointed. If you do not pass the examination or achieve a reachable score, you may not be retained. NOTE:
Candidate(s) must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Failure to maintain Medicaid/Medicare eligibility will result in the termination of employment. Mandatory overtime (MOT) is a requirement of this position. Chosen candidate(s) will be added to the mandatory overtime roster, which is utilized on a rotating basis. The MOT is applied during times of emergency, when all other staffing options have been exhausted (volunteers, hourly staff, contracted staff). Our Addiction Treatment Centers (ATCs) operate 24/7/365 programing. Therefore, MOT IS an essential function of this position and is critical to maintaining adequate staffing at all times in order to ensure the health and safety of clients within the facility. OASAS ATC's are Tobacco-Free facilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
