Nurse Practitioner - Any Specialty - (Richard C Ward ATC)
The responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to, the following:
o Completes medical history and physical examinations on newly admitted patients as well as any other required admission documentation. o Authors medication orders and clarify orders when required with nursing. o Assists in the ongoing assessment of patients and development of treatment plans. o Provide educational lectures/groups to patients and/or other staff members. o Provides individual health counseling to patients. o Refers to and serves as a liaison with local hospitals, providing acute medical and psychiatric care. o Participates in activities to improve patient care and facility operations. o Uses a computer daily for patient documentation and other required communications. o May provide services via telemedicine. o Performs other job related duties as assigned. NOTE:
The ATC uses a computerized patient record system.

Salary Range:
From $42.27 to $42.27 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
A Current New York State License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and certification by the New York State Education Department to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Candidates must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Failure to maintain licensure, certification and/or Medicaid/Medicare eligibility will result in the termination of employment. OASAS Addiction Treatment Centers are Tobacco-Free facilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
