Nurse 3 Psychiatric (Ward Addiction Treatment Center)

The Nurse 3 Psychiatric is a senior member of a multidisciplinary treatment team whose duties include, but are not limited to:
o Member of the leadership team, works with the Nurse Administrator as an advance practice nurse to assess, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate nursing care aspects for individuals in treatment. o Assists in developing facility nursing orientation programs and mentoring new nurses. o Serves as a consultant to other nurses and direct care staff in the implementation of treatment interventions. o Continually evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and program as part of quality assurance and improvement activities of the facility. o Develops improved methods of practice where current approaches of care need to be improved. o Member of the integrated treatment team that collaborates with other staff to ensure patient needs are addressed in the treatment and discharge of patients. o May participate in the admission of individuals to a facility. o May provide scheduled and emergency nursing treatment as needed. o Assists with the referrals to other service providers. o Acts as a liaison to outside agencies and providers to ensure continuity of care. o Serves as Infection Control Nurse o Observes individual care activities, reviews records, and discusses staff and program requirements with facility managers and maintenance supervision to ensure appropriate education as well as health and safety needs are met o Serves as a consultant, teacher and resource to ATC nurses and direct care staff in assessment of patients and planning, implementing and evaluating individual care. o Serves as a teacher and resource to nursing staff in the use of specialized equipment, arranging for trainings as needed. o Develops written reports and trainings specific to quality improvement needs. o Develops nursing policies and procedures with the Nurse Administrator as a member o Of the Policy and Procedure Committee. o Provides supervision to nursing staff and direct care personnel involved with the care and treatment of individuals. o Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary Range:
From $104410 to $122653 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Current NYS RN licensure with BSN and 2-years full-time experience with patients, of whom 50% or more have been diagnosed with mental illness or chemical dependency or MSN with one year of specialized experience; or eligible for transfer. NOTE:
Candidates must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Failure to maintain licensure, certification and/or Medicaid/Medicare eligibility will result in the termination of employment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
